Paducah Trip and new things...

Where do I begin...I hate that it has been so long since my last post. I need to really stay on top of it because things are changing with you everyday! Let’s see, we went to Paducah to see Fairy and Poppy. I was a little nervous because the last time I took you home you were fussy the whole time and I was exhausted by the end! You were a perfect angel though on this trip! You took your naps like a champ and you had fun going out to dinner with us. You love looking at older children, it is almost as if you are studying them so you can do what they do! When we ate at home, Fairy pulled out her antique wooden high chair, and we used a scarf to tie you in. You played with your toys and loved every minute of it! Aunt Megan came to Paducah on Saturday morning and you LOVED playing with her. You smile so big when you see her! Poppy babysat you while the girls went to a party. You did great for him but poor Poppy was so nervous after he put you to bed he checked on you at least 3 times to make sure you were still breathing!

You are doing so well and you are so alert and aware of everything! You love going outside and going to new  places just so you can look around with your big blue eyes. Everywhere we go someone comments on those big blue eyes :) You love going to the grocery with me and smiling at everyone that walks by. It’s pretty cute, except when mommy is in a hurry! I think you have sort of figured out how to wave at people. We will go in the bathroom and you will wave at yourself in the mirror, so cute!

Hank’s birthday was last week and Fairy and Poppy came to Nashville to help celebrate. I must say you were pretty fussy, but luckily everyone helped keep you distracted until we were finished with dinner.

Your nanny Jen is on vacation this week so Gran has come to Nashville to be with you. She is so great and loves you so much. She told me that she would come anytime we needed her to see you because you are her only grandchild and she loves you more than anything. You’ve got it pretty good my love.

Love, Mommy
