Kate's First Christmas!

Somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas you stopped being a baby and became a little girl. You started walking last week and we are all having the best time watching you walk around the house. You have loved everything about Christmas, especially Santa who you refer to as "Hoho". Every morning I have woken up to "hohoho". Your daddy and I bought you shoes the other day and you look like such a big girl walking around the house. You are so loved by everyone and you are definitely the star of the show! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last few days. Merry Christmas little one, I love you so much!!

Kate Meets Santa!!!

We had the best time meeting Santa today!! Daddy and I were prepared to wait in a long line but when we got to Green Hills mall there was no line at all! You sat on Santa's lap and looked at him like "who are you?" You were so cute and gave us some great smiles! I was nervous you would cry but you were fearless as always!!

Kate's First Thanksgiving

At Lunch Thanksgiving day. Mommy was so sick! Everyone in this picture was sick by the end of the weekend :(

Blue Eyes!
What a memorable Thanksgiving! I was so excited about your First Thanksgiving. I planned for all of your grandparents to come in and we were going to have a very nice lunch at a nice restaurant in Nashville. I planned for bloody mary’s beforehand and a fun morning watching the Thanksgiving Day parade. Unfortunately all of my plans bit the dust when I woke up that morning with the stomach bug! You had thrown up on Tuesday night (which was very scary) and I guess I caught it from you. I went on to lunch but boy did I feel bad! Sadly, one by one, every family member proceeded to get the bug over the weekend. I couldn’t believe how contagious it was! Your daddy got it on Friday night on his way back from a work trip in NYC and he lost 7 pounds over the weekend! Thankfully we all made it through and live to tell about it!

Love,
Mommy
